Systemic Growth StudioOne framework, sector specific solutions
A systemic framework for the challenges your sector cannot solve alone.
A Systemic Growth Studio is a facilitated peer experience for 8 to 10 leaders from different, non-competing organisations who share one theme. Over six months and six sessions, the Xenergie systemic methodology is applied to that theme, so the group finds and acts on solutions together.

Why another format was needed
Most groups do one half of the job well, and leave the other half undone.
Decades of peer models have proved that small, confidential, non-competing cohorts build trust and drive better decisions. What they rarely add is a systemic methodology to achieve outcomes.
Networking groups
Without a facilitator or a structure, groups drift into social clubs that never seriously challenge their members.
Peer advisory boards
Confidential peer exchange works, but experience-sharing alone has no diagnostic method underneath it.
Executive education
Faculty-led curricula teach well, then leave the translation back into a live organisation to the participant.
A Studio sits deliberately between a pure peer forum and a cohort-based executive programme: the proven peer architecture, plus a systemic diagnostic applied to the group's shared context and expert content aimed at named constraints.
The three-part promise
Every Studio, whatever its theme, is designed to deliver the same three outcomes.
Better decisions, made faster
On the issues that are actually blocking growth right now, not hypothetical ones.
Measurable progress
Against named growth constraints, tracked session to session rather than left to memory.
Stronger leadership capacity
Built for the participant's next stage of growth, and carried back into their organisation.
The systemic difference
Four connected lenses, applied to one shared challenge.
The methodology overlay is what makes a Studio systemic rather than simply social. Every cohort examines its challenge through the same four lenses, taking a holistic view of the organisation and its ecosystem rather than isolating a single fix.
Mindsets, beliefs and thoughts
The assumptions quietly driving the decisions that get made.
Capabilities, skills and behaviours
What people can actually do, and how they act when it counts.
Shared values and culture
What the organisation and its people collectively hold as important.
Systems, policies and strategies
The structures that shape how work gets done across the organisation.
Between sessions, the Xenergie Enterprise Vitality model and 21st century Leadership Practice Fields help participants to understand how they need to respond and build their own leadership capability.
A shared theme, not a shared problem
One team converges on a problem. A cross-sector cohort converges on a theme.
Each participant's underlying issue is different. What the cohort shares is the reason this specific group is in the room together, which is why the journey runs on two tracks rather than one.
Track one
Peer sessions
Where the cohort comes together to work the theme at the group level: sharing, challenging, and supporting each other through structured hot seats and facilitated exercises.
Track two
Between sessions
Where each participant works the same theme inside their own organisation, supported by digital tools, coaching calls and a rolling 90-day plan, all folded into the studio itself.
The six-session arc
One journey, adapted from Xenergie's systemic transformation method.
A specific Studio applies this arc to its own theme. It does not redesign the arc. Two sessions stay deliberately peer-only, protecting trust-building and the group's own working time; the other four bring in outside stimulus because the content asks for it.
- 1
Peer-only · in-person anchor day
Discovery & Sense-Making
The cohort builds enough trust to speak about the real situation, co-creates and takes ownership of the shared theme, and signs the participant agreement.
- 2
Industry expert
Obstacles & Big Questions
The three to five big questions the theme raises for everyone are named and validated by a practitioner who has seen the pattern before. First hot seats run.
- 3
Peer-only
Reframing, and the Cohort as Engine
Each obstacle is reframed into something workable, and the group commits to how peer challenge and support will actually operate from here.
- 4
Systems thinker + site visit
Ecosystem & Learning Expedition
The cohort maps the ecosystem underneath the theme, then visits a parallel industry chosen deliberately so they see a different way of operating, not a mirror.
- 5
Futurist
Sensing the Future, Scenarios
Shared future scenarios for the theme are built from genuine horizon-scanning, and each participant's plan is pressure-tested against them.
- 6
Peer-only · in-person anchor day
Taking Action, Energising
Commitments are locked in publicly, impact is reviewed against the named measures, and the cohort decides what it carries forward together.
Applying the framework
This is the framework. Your sector supplies the theme.
Each Studio is unique: you set the sector, the underlying theme, the cohort criteria, the expert bench and the site visit. Xenergie brings the method, the facilitation and the arc that has already been designed and tested.
What a sector partner brings
- The sector and the underlying theme worth six months of senior attention
- Access to 10 to 12 non-competing leaders with real authority to act
- Credibility that signals quality to a sceptical audience
- A view on what success looks like for this sector, beyond the generic measures
What Xenergie brings
- The systemic methodology and the four-lens diagnostic
- Senior facilitation and the full six-session arc, already designed
- The expert bench, the learning expedition and the futurist input
- Between-session digital tools, coaching and the 90-day planning rhythm
What holds it together
Candour is engineered, not hoped for.
The conditions below are constant across every Studio, whatever the sector or theme.
Non-competing by design
No direct competitor in, or likely to join, the same cohort. Candour depends on it.
A signed participant agreement
Confidentiality, conduct and no solicitation, agreed in week one with stated consequences.
A no-selling rule
Enforced by the facilitator throughout, and briefed to every visiting expert.
1:1 intake calls
Fit and willingness to share are tested in conversation, never assumed from a job title.
A private space between sessions
Where the work continues, supported by digital tools and coaching, not left to drift.
Ten to twelve leaders
Small enough that everyone is exposed, large enough that the room holds real range.
What is the systemic challenge your sector keeps failing to solve?
If there is a theme worth six months of senior attention, the next step is a conversation about what a Studio for your sector would look like: the theme, the cohort, and who needs to be in the room.
